Angiosperms are one of the major groups of extant seed plants and the most diverse major extant plant group on Earth, with at least 260,000 living species classified in 453 different families. They're seen mostly everywhere on our planet except for extreme climated areas such as the highest mountaintops, regions around the pool, and the deepest oceans. They're host plants, as floating and rooted aquatics in both freshwater and sea habitats, and as terrestrial plants that vary tremendously in many forms. They can be small herbs, parasitic plants, shrubs, vines, lianas, or even giant trees. There is a great length of variety in their chemistry, reproductive morphology, genome size, and organization that is unlike other members of the Plant Kingdom. Although just a plant, angiosperms are vital for human existence. A big majority of the world's crops and clothes fabric are of angiosperms. They're also helpful for many types of medicine.
